Richard was the founder and Director of Scofields IFA (the trading name of Howard Scofield IFA Ltd), which joined Courtiers in December 2010 for the long term benefit of their clients. In April 2019 Richard became a Consultant for Courtiers, and continues to operate the same level of service for all current Courtiers clients
Background / Experience
Over the last 10 years Richard has specialised in providing holistic retirement and investment planning advice for clients who are either approaching, or actually in retirement.
Richard holds the Advanced Chartered Insurance Institute Pensions qualification (G60), the Financial Planning Diploma (Dip PFS), and is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Outside Work
In his spare time Richard can be found enjoying the “joie de vivre” in France with his family, or indulging in his other passions of Motorcycling, or playing keyboard in his Jazz band “Best Served Chilled”.
