Asset Management Director Jacob (Jake) Reynolds reflects on the latest of 16 awards presented over 10 years to Courtiers in the 2026 London Stock Exchange (LSEG) Lipper Fund Awards. This time, and not for the first time, the Courtiers Total Return Growth Fund wins Best Fund over 10 Years.
The Courtiers Total Return Growth Fund has been named Best Fund over 10 Years by the LSEG Lipper Fund Awards, marking the 16th award won over the fund’s lifetime and the fifth time it has been recognised for 10‑year performance.
Jake explains why the award matters: it is based on purely quantitative, independent analysis, rewarding funds that deliver consistent returns across multiple non‑overlapping periods, rather than short‑term outperformance driven by one‑off market bets.
Over the last decade, the Courtiers Total Return Growth Fund has delivered an average annual return of 9.89%, translating into a 164% total return and a real return of around 6–7% per annum after inflation. This has been achieved through some of the most turbulent market conditions on record including Brexit, COVID‑19, inflation shocks, geopolitical conflict and repeated market drawdowns – all while maintaining lower volatility than many single‑market alternatives.
This latest achievement highlights Courtiers’ long‑standing investment philosophy: responsible equity exposure, diversification, disciplined risk management and a genuine long‑term approach. These factors determine the fund’s ability to compound returns through uncertainty, delivering what can be life-changing growth for investors over time.
While Jake emphasises that the award reflects not only the investment team’s efforts, but those of all the teams within Courtiers supporting the fund, above all, it reflects the trust placed in Courtiers by clients to manage their wealth for the years ahead.
